Once a month a full moon rises but every time it does, this big gleaming circle has a different name! From January's Wolf Moon to June's Strawberry Moon to the Harvest Moon of September, in lively rhyme Once in a Full Moon tells the stories behind the names, many of which come from Native American tradition.
Bring your kids to the bookshop this Sunday and enter the magical world of the night sky. Carolinda will guide us in a craft after the reading!
When Carolinda Goodman doesn’t have her nose stuck in a book, she loves to explore nature, and the sky is one of her favorite places to look for adventure. Whether she finds clipper ships in the clouds or hunters in the starry night sky, it’s all an exciting quest. But it’s the full moon that holds the greatest intrigue, and that’s why she wrote this book. She is the food history columnist for the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and Worcester Living magazine.
