Don’t you want to live in eternal peace? For Larify, reminding the people of the United States they are in a millennium of peace becomes overshadowed by his success as a water tycoon, so he quits corporate America, road-trips with a werewolf, converts to Christianity, and marries a wife that helps him to age peacefully. Though, even when Larify dies he cannot die, as a mad inventor called the Metallurgist puts his soul into a robot. Larify sees Newer York City in 2176 but finds he still loves his wife more than the city. Larify’s Dismissal: A Novel from the Hubbub is the story of a 200-year-old who must survive as a mortal while remaining convinced there is nothing to worry about.
Nicholas the Poodle is called so because he believes cynicism will help him to remain hardworking and grounded as an artist. The author’s work is inspired by years of travel after attending graduate school at the University of Edinburgh. His concerns are related to where literature and academics mix with day-to-day life and the public. Larify’s Dismissal: A Novel from the Hubbub is his fourth and most complex book to date. The author now transitions from being a self-directed novelist to a public lecturer, sharing his work with the city of Worcester and the world.
